The Cyber Technical Advisory Group (CTAG) has UK wide Government and WARP representation.
The CTAG reports into the Socitm Local CIO Council (LCIOC), supporting the LCIOC standing theme relating to Cyber Resilience, Information Assurance and Security. We also cover wider sectoral issues relating to Information Governance and ethics.
CTAG works closely with the NCSC, LGA, Cabinet Office, DLUHC and through the UK wide representation CTAG is also able to engage with the Devolved Administrations who are full CTAG members
The current CTAG programme is partially funded through a grant from the LGA. We remain very grateful for the funding to maintain the work programme.
All CTAG project deliverables are uploaded to our GitBooks site: https://guidance.ctag.gov.uk/
The CTAG team holds a number of workshops every year. The topics are diverse and can cover email security, the latest vulnerabilities, the dark web or simply events for networking. Visit our events page.
